Description:

During the IDempiere Workshop 2014 an idea was discussed to enable easier configuration for taxes between the European Union. The tax configuration was too complex as it needed to configure all EU countries against all EU countries as a matrix.

So, as a result it was implemented a Country Group table (initially as a plugin and then integrated into core).

In Country Group window you can define the groups and the country members of each group.

And after that you can set up taxes for country group vs countries, or country vs country group or country group vs country group.
